Laying The Ground Work Architecture

I am trying to start up this thing where aspiring DJs can come to this website, djlightningrod.com to learn how to DJ.

The vision is that it will eventually be like a huge DJ networking website hub that will interconnect DJs with learning resources to support their art and also people can go their to see if they want to book a DJ that they can learn about and hear on my site. And there will be like a dictionary of DJ terms available on my site too. And there will be like gear you can buy to wear as a DJ. It’s a pretty huge vision but keep checking back as this website grows into a culture altering mega-site!

Keeping It Simple and Making It Super Complex at the Same Time

Life is always hanging in the balance between knowing how to keep things simple but also making them complex. As a DJ I am always trying to strike that balance in my work because if you scratch too much it seams like you don't know what you are doing but if you scratch too little it's like all your are doing is playing records. The idea is to push it to the ultimate limit but don't push it too hard... Pull back right at the last second.
